Did you know that individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are at a higher risk for heart attacks and strokes? The American Institute of Research is exploring ways to manage CKD and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. If you or someone you know has excess weight and suffers from CKD, cardiovascular disease, or both, consider joining the GZBO study. Participants may receive up to $3,100 for their time and travel. This study will evaluate whether an investigational medicine (currently being studied) may help reduce the risk of heart disease and kidney disease in individuals with excess weight.
